SERMON ON THE MOUNT (PART 8)
Blessed (B) Attitude needed to make heaven: PATIENCE (Long-suffering).
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matt 5:10
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be shaken.” 1 Peter 3:14
For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 1Peter 3:17
FAITH DECLARATION:
For if anyone endures the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God, this is to be commended. For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God. 1 Pet 2:19,20
PRAYER: I shall remain patient and happy whilst suffering for doing good in Jesus’ name. Amen
